Lenovo brought in the LOQ to sit underneath the Legion, borrowing a lot of its design at a lower price. It is a newer name than most on this site, which means the LOQs we see are generally young machines in decent shape.
The card matters even more here than on a premium line, because LOQ buyers are price-sensitive and know exactly what they are getting. An RTX 4060 LOQ is a solid used machine with plenty of buyers. An RTX 3050 LOQ is at the floor of what we price, and condition makes more of a difference to it.

The LOQ 15 was sold with the RTX 3050, 3060 and 4060, and the difference in the offer between them is a real one. Check which you have before you start.
Age, which is on your side
The LOQ is recent enough that most are still in their first few years. A young LOQ with an untouched battery and a clean keyboard sits comfortably in Excellent.
A clean screen
Budget gaming panels show pressure marks from being closed on a mouse or earphones. An even screen with none of that keeps the grade up.
Charger and box
The box changes very little. The charger matters more, because a LOQ tested on the wrong one cannot show what its card does.
Wear and tear we are happy with.
We only buy working gaming laptops, in Excellent or Good condition. A LOQ that will not boot, has a cracked or flickering screen, or crashes and shows artefacts under load is one we cannot take. Ordinary wear from being played on is a different thing, and none of the below rules yours out.
- WASD and arrow keys worn shiny, or with the legends half gone
- Scuffs and light scratches on the lid
- Palm rest worn smooth from long sessions
- A battery that holds less than it used to, as long as it is not swollen
- Sticker residue, or a vinyl skin still on the lid
- RAM or SSD upgraded from the factory spec
- Original box long since thrown away
- Light marks on the lid from a bag or a desk
