Johannesburg is where we test every laptop, which makes it our fastest turnaround. A laptop collected in Sandton or Randburg is usually in the building the next working day, assessed within 1 to 3 working days of arriving, and once you confirm the offer you are paid within 5 working days. Payment runs at 4pm every working day.

A lot of what we buy from Joburg comes out of offices. Corporate refresh cycles in Sandton, Rosebank and Midrand mean a steady stream of ThinkPads, EliteBooks and Latitudes being replaced every few years, either sold in batches by IT or offered to the staff who used them. If you have 10 or more to sell, our business route prices them together. If you are an employee who has been given your old work laptop, make sure IT has released it from company device management first, because we cannot test or pay for it until they do.

There is no branch to walk into. The warehouse is not open to the public, which is part of why the courier costs you nothing, and why nobody needs to meet a stranger in a parking lot to sell a laptop.
