What IT needs to do first.
- Deregister from Windows Autopilot and retire or wipe in Intune
- Release Macs from Apple Business Manager and remove MDM profiles
- Remove BIOS supervisor and power-on passwords
- Sign out of personal Apple IDs and turn off Find My
- Suspend or decrypt BitLocker if you are not wiping the drives yourselves
